Praise God with me for LifeSong’s

past, present and future

Following are some thoughts from Pastor Natura:

My Lord and my God, I thank You that You are merciful and kind.  I praise You that I am invited, given the privilege of riding the wave of Your mighty works, to be a part of this movement of Yours, called LifeSong. 

     In 2008 You did far more than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams, as we moved to Walnut Hills, set up “camp” in the neighborhood, and your Word, worship songs, and the name of Jesus Christ bounced off the leaves of the massive trees. We saw much life change, the crime rate dropped 47 %, and a once empty park became active and full. This was also the beginning of what grew to be many dear friendships.

      In 2009 You did far more than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams, as we miraculously bought and renovated this old building into a place where Your Word is proclaimed, souls have been saved, hearts and bellies have been fed, and many lives have been transformed.  This was also the beginning of becoming a family.

     In 2010 You did far more than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams, as You miraculously sent us many incredible, devoted workers, including two men who completed our Team Pastorate of three. We have reaped great blessing and growth from Pastor Robert Williams & Pastor Jim Robert’s passionate investment in Your Kingdom, and in this body called LifeSong.

We have not only fed hungry bellies as we gave 56 tons of food away, but we have fed hungry hearts and souls as 43 received Jesus Christ as Savior, and many have grown spiritually. This was also a time of developing a strong sense of family as we have worked together, played together, prayed together, cried together and laughed together.  This building has become a home, we are a close family, and we have begun to move in unity of heart and purpose. 

    In 2011 You did far more than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams, as we have doubled our impact as our Pastor Rob has launched out to start a new church, called “The Jesus Spot”. 

     What will our future bring? I can’t tell You I know, but I expect it to be far more than I could ever imagine in my wildest dreams. What can I dream? I can imagine each of us growing mature spiritually and emotionally, and finding healing,  wholeness, and fullness of life as we discover and live out our God’s plans for us. I can imagine the fullness of each person’s spiritual gifts flowing freely. I can imagine that our influence will impact not only those in LifeSong, and this neighborhood, but will be far reaching through the city of Massillon and beyond. I can imagine a people of courage, character and integrity who are true ambassadors for Christ their King. I can see many individuals being set free to be all God has created them to be, and raising up with a relentless resolve to unashamedly share You, that others can also be set free, and live in that freedom.

I can see hollow eyes becoming full of life, father’s hearts being turned toward their children, families restored, Christ truly becoming the center of many homes, and a people who pour themselves out to take ground for their God’s Kingdom. I see this land, 1236 Huron Rd S.E., being a place known for its love, sought as a role model, and becoming a hub of hope, healing and empowerment.

I see many passionate, called leaders, and workers for Your Kingdom, that are determined to bring life change, and to leave a legacy for Christ. I see them not just buying in, but becoming totally sold out for our God’s purposes, and raised up as an army to spread the influence of Christ more far and wide than our vision can see.

And again, I see us as a people who are humbled, greatly humbled, by this mighty move of our God, and having the privilege of being part of it.
